The Power of Mattering
The Key to a Life of Deep Connection and Purpose
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14th, 2026, Noon – 1 PM via Zoom
Join NYC-Parents in Action (NYC-PIA) for an engaging and informative webinar with Jennifer B. Wallace, an award winning journalist and bestselling author, about the power of mattering in everyday life.
In conversation with Dr. Laurie Freeman for both children and adults, Wallace will unpack an urgent case: that the fundamental need of mattering is going unmet in today’s world.
Wallace will explain the meaning of mattering – the feeling that we are valued and have an opportunity to add value – and how it can strengthen a sense of internal self worth, even when external validation is scarce.
