How Parents Can Teach Their Kids the Skills to Succeed
AVAILABLE UNTIL THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12th, 2025
It’s not too late to learn about executive functioning! Watch the recording of clinical psychologist Dr. Michelle Chung’s webinar, available until December 12, 2025.
Moderated by psychotherapist and NYC-PIA Facilitation Director Dr. Laurie Freeman, this webinar dives into how parents can empower their children to build the foundation for success with executive functioning.
In this webinar, Dr. Michelle Chung offers a refreshingly clear, practical take on Executive Functioning (EF), offering valuable insights and connecting common EF issues experienced by children across different age groups with concrete, actionable strategies parents can use to help their children build their “executive functioning muscle.”
She explains EF as the brain’s “control center” or “mental toolbox,” and reminds us that these skills keep developing well into adulthood. This webinar seamlessly bridging the gap between the theoretical three pillars of EF (working memory, cognitive flexibility, and inhibitory control) and the practical—how parents can start helping their kids right away.
