A Facilitated Discussion
Just for Dads
Where Fathers Connect, Share, and Grow
WEDNESDAY, December 10th, 2025, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. on Zoom
Join us for an evening of honest conversation and shared experiences in a warm, welcoming space designed just for fathers.
Our Fathers Parent Talk brings dads together to connect, reflect, and support one another — no lectures, no pressure, just real talk among peers.
No experts, no lectures — just real dads sharing real experiences.
Whether you’re navigating toddler tantrums, teenage boundaries, or anything in between, this is your opportunity to share wisdom, exchange ideas, and gain new perspectives from other dads who understand the journey.
Guided by a trained facilitator, these conversations offer a relaxed, judgment-free zone where every voice is valued and every story matters.
Don’t miss the chance to build community, strengthen your parenting skills, and walk away feeling more connected and supported.
Let’s keep growing, learning, and showing up — together.

About NYC-Parents in Action
NYC-Parents in Action, Inc., is a non-profit volunteer organization committed to the belief that effective communication, parent to parent and parent to child, is vital to the healthy development of young adults capable of making sound choices. We provide education, information, and a communication network to inform parents about social and developmental issues. With these tools, we strive to help parents communicate openly, effectively, and consistently with their children. Our motto is Be Involved, Be Informed, Be Connected. Parent Talks are your chance to be connected.
NYC-PIA informs parents on a host of issues, from preschool through high school. We offer Parent Talks like this one, as well as speaker events and seminars such as Teen Scene and Parenting Scene.
Parent Talks are NYC-PIA’s signature facilitated discussion group meetings for parents. Each year, we coordinate over 200 Parent Talks in our participating New York City schools.
The goal of Parent Talks is to have a respectful and open exchange of ideas in a safe, non-judgmental environment. All topics discussed are determined by the participants. The meetings provide an opportunity for parents to come together to share parenting perspectives, concerns, and strategies—whatever issues they are facing as parents.
Our Facilitators are parents and individuals who go through intense training in order to contribute their time and talent to guiding Parent Talk discussion groups.
From sleep schedules to social media, bullying to binge drinking, tantrums to teenage anxiety, NYC-PIA Facilitators keep the conversations going.
